Jun 20, 2025Incredible experience at the Royalton Chic!
Our stay here was wonderful, to say the least. The staff was incredibly friendly, our rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the service was fantastic. Our help staff, Diego and Stef, were so helpful in securing nightly reservations for dinner as well as any other requests we had for them. As much as I love the footprint and layout of the property (as well as the beach), the staff is what really made us feel welcome and relax. Highly recommended for anyone on the fence!

Great resort
Amazing resort! Very clean, Good food & always something fun to do! We also had the best butlers Omar & Sandra, very attentive & welcoming, we’re always on point & a text away. Will definitely be back!

Awesome Family Vacation
The trip was a long getaway to celebrate our son’s 21st. We had a great time and all of the staff were amazing. We booked diamond club so we didn’t have to worry about anything while there. Upon arrival the transportation from airport resort was easy. Checking in was a breeze. The diamond lounge was small but served its purpose. Here is where I had an issue, upon leaving check in they introduced us to Tania who was very nice and doing her job but the sales pitch to go prime we didn’t want, they lead you in stating she was going to give us a tour which was just a paper map and the pitch. We wanted to start our vacation so she introduced us to our butler Iran who was amazing the whole trip along with his partner Stef. They took care of every request with a smile and confirmation/follow up. I am not always around my phone so if I didn’t respond they would come by the pool or beach and check in. The pool staff Carlos, Gus, Martin, Chris, Santiago and Cynthia were also awesome and we had a lot of fun with them. The restaurant and bar staff were also great and we had fantastic meals every day. The night shows were fun and Level 18 was good however very crowded and took a long time to get a drink during the Level18 shows. Diamond club was absolutely worth it and I can’t say enough about Iran and Stef as to how attentive they were and made the vacation very one of the best.

Best staff team!
We stayed at Royalton Chic for two weeks, the staff are all lovely and we have made great relationships. Alexander and Danny on the vibe team always ensure we are having fun either joining in with games and winning prizes or having a dance by the pool. The staff team at the munchies bar are also very friendly and we have enjoyed learning some Spanish with them as they serve the food and drinks, Wendy, Romania, Luis (munchies staff), Luis (pool bar) and Luis (mixology cart) have been very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. I was also lucky enough to be proposed to on the beach at the Royalton resort and Morley was a crucial part in making our night special as he cracked jokes and gave us information abbout the beach and nearby turtle nests while serving us our private beach dinner. The only downside to this hotel was the extra costs, we didn’t pay for the diamond club extra and honestly I wouldn’t say it’s worth it. The diamond club exclusive pool and loungers are in the shade most of the day and the rooftop parties are open to everyone except diamond club members can have free drinks at the bar. However, there is limited seating unless you are paying extra to reserve a cabana or buy a bottle for the comfortable seats. There are after parties every night on the third floor which is open to everyone and an all inclusive bar, so we didn’t see the purpose of paying extra for diamond club, although the parties can become a bit rowdy so be prepared! There is also a wine menu at each restaurant at an extra cost, although you can have a glass of wine for free with your all inclusive stay so again just be careful with paying extra unnecessarily. We ate in every restaurant and Martin made our experience in the Mexican restaurant, we ordered our food and Martin and the chef went the extra mile to encourage us to taste a few different dishes. The food was amazing and we even got to try some tequila!! My tip for a trip to this hotel is to learn some greetings in Spanish and be confident in joining in with activities and talking to staff, we have made great friendships and it’s definitely a holiday I will never forget!

Great place to stay
Pristine facilities and an incredible staff all around that makes this a great experience. (Particularly Arturo the Butler) Diamond club perks make it worth upgrading your stay. (particularly the separate pool and bar, and the 20% spa discount)
