Are gift certificates valid for both Southwest Airlines and Southwest Airlines Vacations?

No. If you purchase a Southwest Airlines Vacations gift certificate, it may only be redeemed towards a complete vacation package purchase. It may not be redeemed towards Southwest Airlines air only purchases. In addition, Southwest Airlines issued gift certificates may not be redeemed toward a complete Southwest Airlines Vacations package purchase.

I have a Southwest Airlines Vacations gift certificate. How do I redeem it?

To Redeem Online:
If you would like to utilize your Southwest Airlines Vacations gift certificate(s) towards your online vacation purchase, you must first purchase and pay for your reservation in full online. You must then mail in your gift certificate(s) along with your reservation number, name, address, and phone number to:

A credit in the amount of the gift certificate(s) received will be credited back to your credit card.

To Redeem By Phone:
You may also redeem your gift certificate(s) when you purchase your complete vacation package by calling one of our Reservations Sales Agents at 1-800-243-8372. Inform the Reservation Sales Agent that you are utilizing Southwest Airlines Vacations gift certificates and they will charge your credit card the amount of the vacation less the amount of the gift certificate(s). The Reservation Sales Agent will then provide you with instructions on where to mail your gift certificate(s) to finalize your booking.
