With many rooms overlooking the beautiful savannahs, grazing zebra, giraffes and gazelles can be seen roaming free in natural environments. Three animal savannas are home to more than 200 mammals and birds representative of the African animal palette. SALES ADVISORIES
• If traveling 4/15/2009 through 12/31/2050:
Disney Promotions - When booking available Disney Promotions, Disney theme park tickets are required and Disney sale room categories must be selected. Disney sale room categories are designated with SALE preceding the room category name. See Important Walt Disney World Booking Requirements for details. No exceptions will be made to this requirement.
• If traveling 1/4/2010 through 2/15/2010:
The Uzima Pool will be closed. During this time, Guests may use the Samawati Springs Pool at Kidani Village.
• If traveling 5/5/2009 through 12/31/2009:
Phase 2 of the Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, (located adjacent to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Savannah area), are currently under construction. Work will be done 7 days a week during daytime hours. The new construction, workers and machinery will be visible to guests. Some of the Savannah View rooms will also have views of the new construction taking place behind the Savannah area. The work will not affect guests spending time by the pool or restaurants. All Disney owned and operated resort hotels are smoke-free environments. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor smoking locations only.
• If traveling 11/22/2004 through 12/31/2050:
Walt Disney World reservations must be booked with the correct guest names. Complete name changes are considered cancellations and will require a new reservation.
